Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started with iOrthotics?
Fill out our contact form and we’ll be in touch shortly to answer any questions or fill you in on our products and packages in greater detail.
What materials do you use in your orthotics?
Our orthotic devices are manufactured from direct-milled EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and 3D printed PA 11 (Polyamide – Nylon).
Our EVA density comes in three densities:
- EVA 250 (lighter)
- EVA 300 (medium)
- EVA 350 (firmer)
Our 3D-printed material, PA11, has been University-tested to have superior strength, flexibility and endurance compared to other poly 3D print materials – while remaining environmentally sustainable and producing 95% less waste than other 3D-printing techniques.
As PA11 is a nylon-based polymer derived from renewable resources that come from vegetable/castor oil, it has much less of an environmental impact and requires significantly less non-renewable elements in order to be produced. Additionally, it has superior thermal resistance, impressive elasticity and 40% greater tensile strength than Polypropylene.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once an orthotic order is added to our system and processed, we start manufacturing. Our streamlined processes mean that we are currently leading the industry in turnaround times, with EVA devices being manufactured in 1.9 days and 3D printed devices completed within 3.6 days, according to our internal data from the past six months. We always aim to send your order within 3-5 business days with standard overnight shipping.
For our premier clients, we can process orders on priority and these are sent out within 1 – 2 business days with express shipping.
We close for business each year over the Christmas holiday period. All customers are notified in advance to ensure there’s no impact to their business.
